While you can bring small, non-glass containers of drinks and snacks to the André Rieu concert in Maastricht, it's important to check the specific rules as they usually only allow sealed plastic bottles of water and may have restrictions on the size and type of food you can bring; most people opt to purchase refreshments at the venue before the concert or during the interval.

No. At the time of booking you will choose either Premium, Category 1, Category 2, Category 3 or Category 4 concert tickets. You will be seated in the correct block of seating based on what you have booked. You can request aisle seats by speaking with our Holiday Planners, but this is on a request basis only and cannot be guaranteed.
Yes, there are wheelchair accessible tickets available to book. Please do contact our Holiday Planners on 0333 344 2198 to make this reservation. Unless we confirm to you a wheelchair accessible concert seat, you will not be allocated as such. It's really important we are made aware at the time of booking of any accessibility requirements.
Yes. We arrive in Maastricht in the early afternoon and you have plenty of time to explore this quaint Dutch town. Maastricht, a university city on the southern tip of the Netherlands, is distinguished by its medieval-era architecture and vibrant cultural scene. In its cobbled old town, is the Gothic-style church Sint Janskerk, and the Romanesque Basilica of St. Servatius houses a significant collection of religious art. On the banks of the Maas River, bisecting the city, lies futuristic-looking Bonnefanten art museum.
We have a fantastic optional excursion which you can book if you wish, which includes a scenic journey along the River Meuse and dinner is included. This will save you having to search for somewhere else to eat. You also get a glimpse of Andre's house!
You may wish to make dinner reservations in advance, as the town can be quite busy on concert day. We are unable to make any recommendations, but there are plenty of options to choose from.
If you wish to change for the concert, you are welcome to do so but there is no obligation. You may wish to change in the facilities of a local restaurant or you can use the space onboard your coach by speaking with your Tour Manager.
The concert in July takes places in the town square so is outside. In the event of poor weather and rain, ponchos are available. Umbrellas are not permitted as this restricts the view of the stage for other concert-goers.
Eurostar tickets will be posted to you, or your travel agent approx. three weeks before you are due to depart. Seating is pre-booked for you. There will be representatives from Newmarket Holidays available on the train should you have any questions.
